Dogs Barking! My dogs like to bark, for whatever reason for them to bark is, at 4 in the morning. Dozer is his name. He will keep barking until he is fed or watered, even though he has both of those things. So this is my dream. “I am in my room trying to sleep and it’s dark outside. And my dog is barking.I get angry and go outside to stop him. It turns out that it’s Duke who is barking. I throw a rock at him and it bounces off of him like tossing a gumdrop at jello. I look at his eyes and they’re grey, like when an animal dies their eyes turn that grey-white. I yell at him to stop barking. And he keeps on barking. I go over to him and kick him and he falls over. Like when you knock over a piece of cardboard that is sitting perfectly on its side. I look at him again and he stopped barking, but I still hear it. His eyes look normal and he’s looking up at me like he normally would. His cute droopy Saint Bernard eyes looking up at me and his big fluffy tail wagging and thumping on the ground making dirt fly everywhere. I look up then back down at him. He has a rip in his ear, bleeding snout, one eye is gouged out, he’s bleeding and has large gashes on his back, and his tail looks like someone ripped off it and left nothing but a few bloody bones sticking out. I turn away, not crying but angry because I still hear the barking. I see that it’s now Dozer who is barking. I turn around and I’m inside my house, and the axe is leaning on the wall. I grab it and run out to Dozer. I hit him twice. And he’s still barking. He has two large gashes on his sides but they’re not bleeding. His eyes looked like Dukes. Grey-white. I’m about the hit him in the head. Then I hear a dark music box playing with a little girl singing, her voice echoes. And she sings, O’ willow I die, O’ willow I die. Everything melts like snow.” I wake up in sweat and realize that nothing in my room is playing. Not my alarm clock, the TV, my phone. Nothing. But the only thing that is going off, is Dozer’s barking at 4 in the morning.
