Last Night The sky was clear, just like an average summer walking on the left sidewalk after a bad day at school, I see a glowing person flying towards me and say, "I'll give you ten wishes." As soon as I heard that, I wished my friend Johnny and I were in space. (Apparently it was my description of space at that time) Instantaneously the person was still with me and Johnny was wondering why he was there. We could also breathe, I explained to him what had happened and we decided to destroy an enemy space station but then, this where it all begins. After destroying it one of the giant tanks of space fuel were deflected off from a chaotically rotating meteorite. Ricocheted, pummeled towards him, and killed Johnny in an instant. After that day, during a scene where I was in class, my teacher gave us all panel-like glass things that showed us our statistics and our abilities: Emotion, strength, speed, and courage. Emotion was the lowest it could be and my other friend Lou noticed it too. It hit me like a bus and I suddenly felt hollow on the inside, I was crying, but felt nothing. How could it be? I dropped it it shock and Mark asked if I could buy another one and the teacher said, "Why of course you can have another one, for the sake of your academical tuition!" Apparently we were out of supply of those things. After school, the teen with superpowers and her assistant Sarah, a beautiful brunette who was about my age told us that we had to go search for Johnny. But how could it be? We were in space and his remains could be burning up in a sun for all I care. "Try flying." He said. I felt the wind blow in my face, I didn't have to close my eyes, we flew about 100m above ground. After 15 minutes, we finally arrived to the outside of an airport (Pearson airport I think). I noticed the clouds were moving faster than usual. "You know what to wish for." Said superpower teen. "I wish Johnny was alive again." The clouds turned purple, lighting flashed where we were and out from it came an undead, not-yet rotting corpse of Johnny. His eyes were glowing dark purple, his skin was darker than usual and he was close to immobile (none of his limbs were lost). "You wished me dead, you killed me, I hope you feel proud of yourself." "But I didn't, I wouldn't even If I wanted to. I don't even know where that fuel tank came from I tell you, I'm innocent just like you." I could see the excruciating pain in his eyes, "If only I could be with you again." Said Johnny. A sorrowful atmosphere filled our minds; we all had a sad look on ourselves. Super boy told me I had done the right thing, to get things straight. It was overcast weather, and the spot where Johnny disappeared was tinted with a concentric dark purple hue. "Come, we have something to show you, our secret hideout. Many of us are there. We're what they call heroes, genies..." Said Sarah. We decided not to fly, for we've put too much unwanted attention on ourselves. After two days of walking, we finally arrive at the place oddly enough, me legs didn't hurt at all. It was more of a moss-filled terrain, and plants covered the walls, 6:00 AM in the morning. We passed the door but something was wrong. The place was overrun with government agents. "Hey, it's him! Haul him away and lock him in for life!" One rule of superheroes, do not resist arrest. I know, that was a pretty stupid rule. "And you, get inside if you want to pass through, except for the girl." Said the border guard. But anyway, they forcibly took him in a van whose shell was made out of carbon-fiber. I screamed and screamed from the top of my lungs to the bowels of my lungs. There was nothing I could do about it. Sarah looked quite calm, I was quite surprised but not until I saw a tear sneak out of her eyes. "Let's go, meet you on the other side." Apparently it was a facility wherein you have to behave while attempting to escape. Inside I felt like I had nothing to live for, because the one person who had the power to turn my life around was taken away to places unknown. The alarm sounded, the gates were closed shut with metal walls with barbed wire at the top, and I escaped through an air vent. And out I see Sarah. "Hey, this is where we part, if the governmental agents wouldn't have been here, you could have lived with us. You may not see me ever again, but if you do, it'll make me the happiest person alive. I had to go through this same process as you are about to. Venture, train, and help. IMD
